In the coming years, Poland's IT market will overtake Austria's when it comes to size. Poland is already in first place regarding growth of the industry in the entire CEE according to an index prepared by Kapsch.

“The rise in IT budgets in Austria is roughly 2-3 percent yearly. In Poland the dynamic is even twice as high. There is no doubt that in the next few years, Poland as well as Turkey will overtake Austria regarding spending on IT,” said Jochen Borenich, the Director-General of Kapsch BusinessCom.

Kapsch announced that the current value of the Polish IT market is roughly €5.6 billion while the Austrian market is worth €6.1 billion. Meanwhile, the Polish market is growing at 3.5-4 percent yearly.
