The consumer sentiment barometer calculated by pollster GfK inched up by 0.5 points month-on-month in February and stood at 20.8 points, the pollster said.
Households’ expectations about their future economic situation remained unchanged at -7 points. Their expectations regarding the country’s economic situation declined by 2 points to -15.
Forecasts regarding the labor market remained at a level of -28. Meanwhile the willingness to save index grew by 4 points and now stands at -33, GfK said.
