The whole advertising market in Poland should grow by 1.5 percent in 2014, according to the Polish unit of International Advertising Association (IAA) Jacek Olechowski.
“One can see a willingness to innovate, change and take risks on the market. These are factors which may positively influence the market this year. Olechowski said in an interview with the Polish Press Agency.
The sectors which will grow this year are TV and internet advertising. While the TV ads revenue should increase by some 1.5 percent, internet advertising ”will grow visibly, but not in the traditional display form,” said Olechowski, adding that he expects biggest growth in “search” and “performance” segments as well as web video.
Traditional advertising media such as press, radio and outdoor will continue to lose ground for the benefit of internet, with decline in the press segment likely amounting to double-digits, Olechowski also said.
