PESA nominated for FT's award

Polish rolling stock manufacturer Pesa is the first company from Central and Eastern Europe to have been nominated for the Financial Times’ economic award. The Polish firm will compete with such global enterprises as Twitter and Continental Resources.

Pesa is a great example that shows transition may be a success, FT’s CEE correspondent Jan Cieński, who prepared the nomination, told Gazeta Wyborcza. The company was built on the basis of a ruined enterprise and now it competes with the biggest market players, he said.
