Poland’s largest FMCG distributor Eurocash has signed an initial agreement on acquiring the 51 percent it did not already hold in electronic financial services firm PayUp Polska from Alverca B.V., the company said in a statement on Thursday.

The takeover is subject to approval from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection. The companies did not reveal the deal value or the planned finalization schedule.

PayUp Polska offers electronic financial services, such as card payments or phone account charging, through a network of 4,900 terminals across Poland.
