Prime Minister Donald Tusk had dismissed Lech Witecki from the post of acting director of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development said on Thursday.
The PM made the decision upon request from Infrastructure and Development Minister Elżbieta Bieńkowska, the statement also said. No specific reasons were given for the dismissal.
Witecki is the second public office head to be dismissed this week after Małgorzata Krasnodębska-Tomkiel who was discharged from the post of head of anti-monopoly office UOKiK on Monday.
