A series of false bomb threats shut down some ministerial buildings for a few hours and other institutions throughout Warsaw, Monday.
A series of e-mails were sent to various institutions in the early morning hours threatening that a bomb was placed inside the buildings, forcing the authorities to evacuate them.
Evacuated ministries included – economy, health, infrastructure, education among others. One hospital and the Intraco office building was also evacuated. Just in the Economy Ministry alone, there were 2,000 employes who had to be removed from the buildings.
No explosives were found at the sites.
