If high streets are a city's business card, Warsaw's downtown needs a lot of work. There are new retail and office projects being developed in the city center, historic buildings are slowly being revitalized. Meanwhile, boutique offices are high in demand. Is there value in Polish high streets? How can their revival be accelerated?

Since 2009 Piotr has been holding a position of General Manager at Kulczyk Real Estate Holding S.à r.l Polish Branch and since 2010 a position of Managing Director and Board Member at Kulczyk Silverstein Properties. He joined Dr. Jan Kulczyk’s Group in 1998 and has handled positions of Investment Analyst (1998-2002), Deputy Director of Ownership Supervision Department (2002 – 2005) and Investment Director (2005 – 2009). Holds Master’s Degree from Warsaw University of Technology (Corporate Finance). He participated in Doctoral Studies from Warsaw School of Economics and Warsaw Collegium of World Economy. Graduated from Postgraduate Executive Studies in Finance provided by Ernst & Young and Warsaw School of Economics.
Maciej Zajdel, President of the Management Board of IVG Poland
Maciej Zajdel, aged 41, President of the Management Board of IVG Poland, representing the international real property group IVG listed at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on the Polish market. IVG manages assets worth approximately €22 billion and is located with 580 employees in 19 selected major European cities. Maciej is trained as a construction engineer (Technical University in Delft, Holland and Wrocław Technical University) and economist (MBA, University of Calgary, Canada). He became a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member, CCIM Institute Chicago) in 2010. For the past 15 years, Maciej has been associated with the commercial and industrial real property sector. He is responsible for managing the portfolio office and commercial real properties in Poland, worth approximately €300 million, for acquisitions and sales of real properties (current volume of approx. €200 million), for development projects (projects completed or in progress in the approximate value of €160 million) as well as for other infrastructure projects.
Robert Mandżunowski, CEO of LHI
Robert Mandżunowski has been a Board Member at LHI (previously LHI Leasing Polska) since August 2000. In 1995-2000 he was the chief legal adviser of Polish Embassy in Germany specializing in business law. He was a member of an EU working group on the compliance of Polish law with EU regulations on business, including company law, tax law and real property trading. In 1992-1995 he was an associate of one of leading law firms, where he advised companies and institutions doing business in Poland.

Edyta Potera holds a position of National Director, Retail Agency at Jones Lang LaSalle. She is responsible for commercialization and re-commercialization of various retail concepts throughout the country and abroad, lease consultancy and strengthening the relationships with clients. Edyta has been involved in commercial real estate market for over 10 years and cooperated with such clients as Inter Ikea, Neinver, Apollo Rida, King Cross, Resolution Property, Balmain Asset Management, GTC, Immobel Poland. She specializes in developing and implementing remodeling and leasing strategies for retail schemes. She is a licensed real estate broker and property manager.
Michał Leszczyński, Managing Director at Grupa 5 Architekci
Michał Leszczyński is Partner and Managing Director at Grupa 5 architectural studio. Born in 1969, he graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture as well as from Ecole des Arts Americaines Fontainbleau. He also attended the Institut Superieur de Geston Paris (1992-1993) and National Contact EASA Polska (1993-1995). He has been a lecturer at the Lublin University of Technology since 2008, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students. He co-designed over 400 buildings, including 41 office, residential and public utility buildings. He worked on a number of office and mixed-use projects in Poland’s major cities, including Kopernika 21 and on ul. Grzybowska in Warsaw.

Paweł Laskowski-Fabisiewicz is the Vice-President of the Managing Board at Polski Holding Nieruchomości. Till 2011 he held the post of TON AGRO Managing Board President. Earlier (2002-2008) he was Managing Board Member and Operations Director at POLBITA sp.z o.o.; Logistics Director at Coca-Cola Beverages Polska sp. z o.o. (1997-2002). In the period 1992-1996 he worked for McDonald’s Polska sp. z o.o., and in 1996-1997 he was Operations Director at ABCO sp. z o.o. (today Eurocash Dystrubucja sp. z o.o.). He is a graduate of Pułtusk Higher School of Humanities and Warsaw Higher School of Communication and Social Media.
