Poland took 21st place out of 42 countries listed in PwC’s ESCAPE index ranking, which “provides a holistic measure of a country’s performance,” according to the consultancy.
Poland overtook countries such as Italy or Greece in the ranking, placing just below France and the UK. Sweden, Switzerland and Singapore topped the list.
“Once again, Poland has found itself among 42 global economies analyzed by PwC … which checks whether this growth is stable and secondly, whether this growth positively affects citizens’ quality of life,” Senior Economist Mateesz Walewski said in a PwC press release cited by ISBnews.
“Poland, Romania and Russia have shown particularly strong growth over the past years,” Walewski added.
