Poland’s gross domestic product should grow by 3 percent year-on-year in 2014 thanks to an economic rebound, the Ministry of Economy said in a statement on Friday.
The official GDP growth forecast in Poland’s state budget for 2014 is 2.5 percent. However, both the prime minister and the minister of finance have spoken of possible 3-percent growth.
On Thursday Poland’s statistics office GUS published a flash estimate of the country’s GDP growth in 2013, saying that the figure was 1.6 percent.
