The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Poland was 10.1 percent in December 2013 compared to 10.2 percent in November, the EU’s statistics office Eurostat said in a release on Friday.

Throughout the EU the unemployment rate was 10.7 percent in December compared to 10.8 percent in November. In the euro area it was 12 percent, stable since October, Eurostat also said.

Poland’s statistics office GUS, which uses a different methodology, said earlier this month that the registered unemployment rate in Poland in December was 13.4 percent.
