The Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) for Poland calculated by the European Commission grew by 1.7 points month-on-month to 94.6 points in January, the EC said on Thursday.
In industry, the sector ESI grew by 2.3 points to -12.7 in December. In services, it grew from -0.9 to 1.5 points. In retail trade the indicator grew from -3.4 points to -1.9 points. In construction it grew from -32.9 points to -30.3 points. In the same period, the EC’s consumer confidence indicator for Poland declined from -19.7 points to -21.4 points.
