The Electronics Producers Association (ZIPSEE) estimates that tablet sales will increase by 44 percent to 2.01 million units sold in 2014.

Nevertheless, the revenue will grow a lot slower (only by 15 percent) due to the average price of the product decreasing from €161 to €129.

Moreover, data from ZIPSEE show that the prices of smart phones will not decrease (the average price being €210). The sales will grow by approximately 23 percent to 6.58 million pieces in 2014, increasing the total revenue to €1.38 billion.
