In 2013 Poland will export €6.9 billion worth of furniture, according to sector analysis firm B+R Studio. A year earlier the figure was €6.57 billion.
Poland is the seventh largest furniture producer in the world and the fourth in Europe.
Tomasz Wiktorski, head of B+R Studio, expects Polish furniture exports to continue growing in 2014, thanks to an improving economic situation. He declined, however, to give a forecast figure.
Polish producers plan to expand their geographical presence, for example by selling to Africa and to Middle-Eastern countries, Mr Wiktorski added. In his opinion, China may also be a potentially favorable market.
Poland's biggest furniture export market is Germany.
