LOT Polish Airlines is preparing answers to questions regarding its restructuring plan that have been posed by the European Commission.
The answers should be ready in January, the company's CEO Sebastian Mikosz said.
This is the second round of questions sent by the EC, which is reviewing LOT's plan as part of an approval procedure for state aid the airline was granted. The commission is asking about LOT's links to other state-owned companies, about its business model and about the use of Dreamliner planes, Mr Mikosz explained.
The CEO said that the EC will most likely publish the LOT restructuring plan outline in late January or early February, for public consultation. He is counting on approval from the commission, which he hopes will help make the company more stable.
