Polish lender Alior Bank has signed a strategic agreement with T-Mobile Polska, the Polish unit of Germany's Deutsche Telecom. The companies will cooperate in creating a new product offer and sales channels.
T-Mobile will offer Alior products to its customers, both individual and corporate. “This will be the first such complex bank and telecommunications firm cooperation project,” the companies said in a statement.
Alior is obliged to create a separate unit to manage the cooperation. T-Mobile will be entitled to name one supervisory board member at the bank.
