Procter & Gamble opens European logistics center in Warsaw

Procter & Gamble (P&G), a multinational manufacturer of consumer goods, opened its European logistics and planning center in Warsaw on Thursday.

The center will create approximately 500 working places.

Warsaw proved to be an optimal location due to previous investments in the area, proximity to markets and access to educated and competent staff, the Global Product Supply Officer P&G Yannis Skoufalos was quoted as saying in the press release.

The center will be responsible for the distribution chain in 100 countries, resource planning and distribution of ready-made products to receivers.

Currently, P&G has four factories in Poland and a main office. It employes over 3,500 in the country.
