The Poland Comes First party is close to reaching an agreement with former Justice Minister Jarosław Gowin and his political movement, the party's leader Paweł Kowal told Polish Radio on Monday. A new, mutual initiative may be announced this Saturday, he added.

If he reaches an agreement with Mr Gowin, Mr Kowal will present his view to the political council of Poland Comes First. He will most likely opt for establishing a new organization.

“A party has to be established for the purpose of taking part in elections,” the politician said. “If we agree and have 5-10 common goals, a common organization may be created earlier than expected.”

According to TVP Info, both sides have reached an agreement and Poland Comes First might dissolve and form a new organization with Mr Gowin's movement.
