FMCG sector giant Procter & Gamble will open a regional planning center in Poland, according to sources quoted by Puls Biznesu. The company is expected to announce the new investment this week on the 20th anniversary of its Polish presence.

The center will provide production and distribution planning services for the entire European region and employ up to 1,000 people, the sources said. Procter & Gamble declined to comment on the reports. It will be located in Warsaw, where the company already has a planning center which employs some 600 people. After its expansion it will employ additional 400 people.

The company also has a global IT services center in Poland, with 300 employees, and four production plants.
