Treasury minister sets three goals for LOT restructuring
Poland's Treasury Minister Mikołaj Budzanowski told Polish Radio that he has set goals for the restructuring of troubled national airline LOT.
The first is increasing sales revenue within the next few months by attracting new customers. The second goal is cutting costs within the company with the help of 75 precise cost-cutting measures. The third goal is getting back the airline's Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, now grounded due to battery problems.
Mr Budzanowski did not specify if LOT would receive extra financial aid from the state, apart from the zł.400 million loan it got in December 2012.
