A further €10 billion for road construction?
Poland's General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) hopes that €10 billion of the EU budget funds allocated to Poland for the years 2014-2020 will be spent on road construction. General Director Lech Witecki told ISBnews that his institution will soon announce dozens of new road construction tenders financed within the new budget perspective.
Mr Witecki also said that about 400 kilometers of roads would be completed in 2013. In 2012, which was a record year, 700 kilometers of national roads and motorways were finished.
