The Warsaw Stock Exchange confirmed that it will change its trading platform on April 15. The Warset system, which has been in operation since 2000, will be replaced by the NYSE Euronext’s Universal Trading Platform (UTP).

The WSE confirmed the start date after consulting brokerage houses on the state of their readiness to adapt to the new trading platform. Technical testing was completed in February.

The Warsaw bourse gained rights to adapt the UTP system to its needs when it signed a cooperation agreement with NYSE Euronext in July 2010.
