Founder of Inglot Cosmetics passes away
Wojciech Inglot, the founder of well-known cosmetics producer Inglot Cosmetics, died on Saturday. He was 58 and had suffered from internal hemorrhaging, his close friend told the Associated Press.
Mr Inglot first started a chemical manufacturing business in his home town of Przemyśl in 1983. The company later started producing make-up cosmetics and grew to become a major Polish exporter. Inglot Cosmetics now manages 333 own-brand stores in 46 countries.
“A wonderful colleague and a great man left us,” said Mayor of Przemyśl Robert Choma. He added that there had been plans to give Mr Inglot, once also the chair of the city council of Przemyśl, the title of honorary citizen of Przemyśl.
