Listed power group PGE and telecommunications company Orange Polska have signed an agreement on offering each other's products in their sales chains, both firms said in a press statement.

The agreement marks the beginning of further negotiations between the firms concerning other fields of cooperation, including presenting a joint offer to clients.

Further decisions on cooperation will be made after pilot programs, planned for Q2 and Q3 2013, have been concluded.

Orange Polska (formerly known as Telekomunikacja Polska) is the biggest telecommunications provider in Poland. PGE is the biggest energy provider in Poland, producing 40 percent of electricity in the country.
