Industrial production down: preliminary data
Poland's Economy Ministry said that its analysts estimate that industrial production fell by 3.5 percent year-on-year in January, compared with a 10.6 percent drop in December 2012. “A stronger decrease could be the result of a harsh Winter,” the report said.
Economists surveyed by PAP expect industrial production to have fallen by 3 percent y/y and risen 3 percent month-on-month in January. Statistics office GUS will publish industrial production data on February 19.
