Deposits outpace loans in 2012
Poland's Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) announced that the value of loans in Poland amounted to zł.810.3 billion at the end of 2012, up by 1.2 percent year-on-year. The total value of deposits of the non-financial sector was zł.724 billion, up by 3.5 percent y/y. The value of mortgage loans amounted to zł.321.7 billion and was up by 0.8 percent y/y, the KNF said.
