Poland slowed down in Q4
Poland's Finance Ministry estimates that the annual GDP growth in the fourth quarter of 2012 was 0.7 percent. Earlier estimates saw the growth at 1 percent. Poland's GDP growth slowed down sharply from one quarter to another, starting with 3.6 percent in Q1. The gross added value of industrial production fell from 3.5 percent in Q1 to about -2 percent. Poland's statistics office GUS said that the estimated GDP growth for 2012 was 2 percent, without disclosing details on quarters.
