Piechociński: Poland can benefit from cooperation with UAE
Poland's Economy Minister Janusz Piechociński said Polish companies should benefit from extended cooperation with the United Arab Emirates. During the ongoing visit of a delegation from UAE, including the country's Economy Minister Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, officials from both countries held a meeting on economic cooperation and signed a protocol on cooperation in several particular areas.
In the first 11 months of 2012, Poland's trade turnover with the UAE amounted to $540 million (Polish exports to the country were worth $440 million). Poland mostly exports mechanical and electronic devices, chemical industry products and foodstuffs. It imports tobacco, ceramics and mechanical devices.
