Domestic demand down
Poland's Economy Ministry estimates that domestic demand fell by 0.7 percent in the fourth quarter of 2012. In the same period, individual consumption decreased by 1.1 percent, while gross fixed capital formation fell by 0.4 percent.
Last week, Central Statistical Office (GUS) said that Poland's GDP grew by 2.0 percent in 2012 but it did not disclose Q4 details. According to GUS data, all of the above indicators grew in 2012.
