Wages rise 2.4% in 2012
The average gross monthly salary rose 2.4% year-on-year to zł.4,111.69 in December 2012, according to Poland’s statistics office GUS. Compared with November’s data, salaries rose 8.8%. GUS also said that 5.47 million people were employed in Polish enterprises in December, 0.5% less than a year earlier and 0.4% less than in November.
