Kompania Węglowa to raise zł.1 billion in bond issue
Poland's largest coal mining group Kompania Węglowa (KW) will issue bonds worth zł.1 billion in 2013, the firm's CEO Joanna Strzelec-Łobodzińska told Rzeczpospolita. The company will use the issue proceeds to finance investments such as exploration work in the Lubelskie region, which is to continue for the next two years.
KW is also in talks with two potential business partners from Asia on a joint venture intended to build a power plant.
