Poles shop abroad for cheaper products
Poles use e-commerce sites from outside the country mostly in search of cheaper products, according to a report by online payment firm PayPal. The most common types of goods purchased this way are software and virtual goods (23 percent), electronics (15 percent), clothing (11 percent), cosmetics and perfume (7 percent) and jewelry and watches (5 percent).
Twenty-three percent of the surveyed group spent less than zł.100 on single purchases but, in turn, 22 percent spent more than zł.900. Twenty-six percent shopped in US online stores and 20 percent in those located in the UK.
