Labor market looking bleak
Polish firms have all but stopped hiring, reports Rzeczpospolita. According to recent surveys, one in seven companies are thinking about reducing their workforce, while just one in 16 are considering hiring new employees.
This situation is most heavily affecting young people, whose chances of finding work in Poland are minimal. According to Prime Minister Donald Tusk, some 400,000 new jobs are scheduled to be created in 2013, thanks largely to public money.
