CBA won't handle WSE head's case
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBA) won't handle the case of the suspended CEO of the Warsaw Stock Exchange – Ludwik Sobolewski, Radio Zet reported.
Mr Sobolewski was suspended on December 21 after the WSE board and the Treasury Minister Mikołaj Budzanowski decided that he had acted unethically. He is suspected of asking his co-worker, Emil Stępień to encourage NewConnect listed companies to co-sponsor a movie in which Mr Sobolewski's partner, Anna Szarek, is starring in.
Mr Sobolewski maintains that the WSE never supported the film financially and that he hadn't broken any ethic rules.
