In a New Year speech to her nation, German Chancellor Angela Merkel warned that her country's economic climate in 2013 will be difficult, and urged Germans to be more patient in what is expected to be another challenging year, reports Puls Biznesu.
“The reforms that we've introduced are beginning to have an impact. Nevertheless we need to have continued patience. The crisis is far from over,” said Ms Merkel. The German Chancellor indirectly contradicted her Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble, who just a couple of days ago said that the worst of the crisis was over.
Germany is Poland’s biggest trading partner. Roughly a quarter of Polish export products go to its western neighbor.
