The European Investment Bank has agreed to lend money to Poland’s National Road Fund, reported Rzeczpospolita. The money is set aside for the construction of a major new road and to facilitate investments in local infrastructure. Of the money lent, €300 million will go towards the construction of the S8 highway. The other €75 million will fund small and medium-sized projects dealing with infrastructure and environmental protection.
