Another €375 million for Polish roads
The European Investment Bank has agreed to lend money to Poland's National Road Fund, reported Rzeczpospolita.
The money is set aside for the construction of a new perimeter road in Warsaw and to facilitate local investment in infrastructure.
Of the money lent, €300 million (zł.1.22 billion) will go toward the construction of the S8 highway surrounding Warsaw.
The other €75 million (zł.305.8 million) will fund small and medium-sized projects dealing with infrastructure, environmental protection, smart energy use, health protection and socio-economic cooperation between regions.
