Art investment magazine Art&Business debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange's alternative trading platform NewConnect, Tuesday, opening at zł.1.05 per share. The stock rose 35 percent throughout the day, reaching zł.1.35 by the end of the session.
Art&Business is the oldest Polish publication covering art investments. It is also the only magazine in Poland listed on the stock market.
Art&Business' CEO Jakub Kokoszka said going public is part of a strategy to grow the magazine.
“We are focusing on the development of e-commerce as well as making our magazine present abroad, hence our decision to publish a quarterly in English,” Mr Kokoszka added.
