Polish exports close to zł.48 billion in August
The value of Poland's exports in August of this year was zł.47.9 billion, according to estimates by the Export Credit Insurance Corporation Joint Stock Company (KUKE). That's 7.3 percent less than in July and 0.7 percent more than in the same month of 2011.
But in the period August-October 2012, exports may turn out 3.5 percent higher than a year ago, as the August m/m decline is seasonal.
Besides, the lower export data in August is also connected with the sharp increase experienced in July this year. For the whole year of 2012, Poland's exports should reach zł.619.4 billion, according to KUKE.
That would be 7.3 percent higher than in 2011. Meanwhile, 2013 may bring an increase in exports, which may reach the value of zł.640.6 billion.
