Polish exports on the rise
From January to July 2012, the value of Polish exports amounted to €80.5 billion – 3 percent higher than for the same period a year ago, according to data from the Central Statistical Office.
Data in złoty shows that the value of exports rebounded by 11 percent year-on-year, although in US dollars exports fell 4 percent.
Imports in złoty grew 6.3 percent, but denominated in euro and dollars imports fell over the period. Poland had a negative trade balance when denominated in all three currencies.
