PKN Orlen to invest more in shale gas
Polish oil and gas concern PKN Orlen plans to intensify shale gas prospecting, the company's president said during this week's Economic Forum in Krynica, reported Puls Biznesu.
“We have the ambition to become the holder of the greatest number of exploration licenses for shale gas deposits in Poland,” said PKN Orlen's president Jacek Krawiec.
The company currently owns eight licenses for shale gas across Poland. PGNiG has the most with a total of 15.
