Former heavyweight boxer Mike Tyson was in Poland on Thursday to launch a new advertising campaign for energy drink Black.

Tyson, who was known as both Iron Mike and The Baddest Man on the Planet during his boxing career, will be the face of the campaign for the next three years.

FoodCare, the company which produces Black, hopes that by using the former world heavyweight champion in an advertising campaign, Black will become the best-selling energy drink in Europe.

In a professional career spanning more than 20 years, Tyson became the youngest man ever to win the world heavyweight boxing championship when he defeated Trevor Berbick at the age of just 20.

However, despite becoming undisputed champion a year later in 1987, the majority of the rest of the Brooklyn-born boxer's career was marred by controversy as spells in prison and disqualifications in the ring tarnished his reputation.

But when asked by journalists what he would have done differently, if he had his time again he said, “There is nothing in my life I would erase – I would not change anything, even if I could,” Polish television station TNV24 reported.

“God designed each of us and we have to deal with it,” he added.
