Poland to continue patrolling Baltic skies
The Polish air force will continue to participate in NATO’s Baltic Air Policing mission, which protects the air space of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, Polish President Bronisław Komorowski said last week. The heads of Poland, Latvia and Estonia met in Warsaw ahead of a NATO summit in May. The leaders also discussed Russian plans to build up missile capa-bilities in the Kaliningrad oblast, on Poland’s northern border.
