Every month, as many as five million Poles try to find love on the internet. But each year as Valentine's Day approaches online dating becomes even more popular, reported Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.

Valentine's Day is a particularly good time to attract new clients, and this year the biggest dating service, Sympatia.pl, which belongs to Onet, has launched an online application for BlackBerry phones.

“Everyone using BlackBerry now has the chance to develop new and fascinating relationships, to exchange, flirt, to date,” Marcin Tlałka, product manager at Sympatia, told DGP.

Another online dating service which recently entered the market is Feeldate.com. Daniel Surmacz, the founder of the new company, told DGP: “Looking for a partner takes time. The internet accelerates this procedure.”
