Fifteen companies interested in Warsaw Airport building project
Warsaw's Fryderyk Chopin Airport will once again turn into a construction site. Valued at zł.300 million, the project to rebuild Terminal 1 is set to start in the second half of 2012 and last until the end of 2014.
Since it is one of the largest tenders on the Warsaw building market, 15 construction companies have expressed an interest in the project.
These including Budimex, Warbud, Astaldi, and Bilfinger Berger, Przemysław Przybylski, a spokesperson for Warsaw Airport, the company that manages the airport, told Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
After the work, Warsaw Airport is to be able to handle 26 million passengers a year.
