On Monday, between 11:00 and 13:00 CET time, PW-Sat, Poland’s first satellite, will be launched into orbit from Europe’s spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.

The launch will be shown live here.

The PW-Sat was designed and built by students from the Warsaw University of Technology and scientists from the Space Research Centre at the Polish Academy of Sciences.

It is one of nine satellites that will be put into orbit during the first qualification flight of the European Space Agency (ESA)’s new Vega launch vehicle.
