Polish currency strongest in five months
The z這ty made strong gains last Friday, benefiting from positive news from the US job market where the unemployment rate dropped to its lowest level since February 2009, rp.pl reported.
From July to the end of December 2011, the z這ty lost some 12 percent against the euro and the Swiss franc, and 25 percent against the dollar.
However, in January, the Polish currency began making up for the losses. And on Friday the z這ty was at its strongest against the euro since September last year.
Currency analysts are predicting further, although slower appreciation of the Polish currency.
