Złoty strengthens amid EU optimism
The złoty strengthened from zł.4.26 against the euro to zł.4.20 on Tuesday, with the latest EU summit helping to ease economic uncertainty in the region, reported Parkiet.
European markets rose steadily throughout the day as investors drew encouragement from news of an imminent decision regarding reduction of Greek debt .
However, analysts have warned that this optimism may be short-lived, with the Greek debt crisis being just one of the many issues that the EU will have to deal with in the coming months.
