Polish gas monopolist PGNiG sold 14.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2011, which was similar to the amount it sold a year earlier, the company said in a statement. The amount of gas it extracted, meanwhile, rose from 4.2 to 4.3 billion cubic meters.
Gas sales, however, were lower in Q4 2011, down y/y to 4.2 billion from 4.4 billion cubic meters a year earlier, due to warmer temperatures.
Meanwhile, crude oil production decreased in 2011 to 468,000 metric tons compared to 501,000 tons in 2010, the company added.
