Polish dealers see potential in used cars
A total of 725,000 used cars were imported to Poland last year, significantly more than the 280,000 new cars that were sold in the country in the same year.
However, the number of imported second-hand cars was still lower than the record 1.1 million vehicles imported in 2008, reported Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
As a result of this high demand for used vehicles and a drop in interest in new vehicles, Polish car dealers are becoming increasingly likely to develop second-hand sales networks.
And as well as creating a new revenue source for dealers, it also provides a more trustworthy alternative service for people who want to buy a used car in Poland but are concerned about whether a car is safe and reliable.
